Let’s make a newspaper!

CREATIVITY CLUB_BUSSEY B4K

Have you ever wondered what happens after the writer writes and the editor edits, but before the printer prints? How do the design and production happen? Why is there a never-ending parade of ugly acronyms like CMYK, DPI, PDF and GSM?

And would you like to have a go at being guided through designing a page yourself?

The Creativity Club works with SE15’s hyperlocal newspaper The Peckham Peculiar to turn their words, photos and adverts into a full-on newspaper six times a year.

Creativity Club director dan harder will be opening up the studio on the fourth floor of the Bussey Building on Sunday 11 September 2016 as part of the first Peckham Festival. Come have a chat about the weird and wonderful word of graphic design, take a gander at some of the other work we do, and get a crash course in what it takes to lay out a newspaper page.

You’ll find us on the 4th floor of the Bussey Building at 133 Rye Lane, SE15 4ST. Give us a call on 0333 055 0975, or e-mail us at info@thecreativity.club.

See you on Sunday!
