Custom illustrations are definitely the way forward when a photo or words just aren’t cutting it.

In the spring of 2016, The Means came to us to help develop some marketing material for an estate cleanup project they were running in spring 2016. They needed a poster, something that could be e-mailed, and, crucially, a good way show a before and after without being too pejorative.

A custom illustration did the trick perfectly. An empty can and patchy grass on the left perfectly mirror a healthy tulip and a fruit-bearing tree on the right.

We then integrated the illustration into a poster that was put up all over the area to help spread word about the clean-up. There was a great response from the community, and a number of estates took advantage of the opportunity.
